Dedicated mum of two and your Chiropractor.

Sarah Waller
Chiropractor & Founder

Registered with the GCC and the UCA.

I’ve always been drawn to helping people. Before becoming a chiropractor, I worked as a
police officer, a role that was challenging, rewarding, and people focused.

Supporting others, being someone people could rely on, and helping them through difficult moments has always mattered to me.

My journey into chiropractic began when I met my now husband, Tom. Seeing the impact chiropractic care could have on people’s lives sparked a real curiosity in me, especially around the relationship between the spine, nervous system, and how the body functions as a whole.

At the time, I was also beginning to feel the effects of working long shifts, stress, and constantly pushing through without really listening to my body. Regular chiropractic care made a huge difference to how I felt physically and mentally, and it inspired me to retrain as a chiropractor myself.

Together, Tom and I went on to build Epoch Lincoln — a chiropractic practice created to bring chiropractic care to our local community. I loved being part of that journey and supporting so many people through their health challenges.

Then I became a mother, and my perspective deepened again.

Going through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, disrupted sleep, and the physical demands of caring for young children gave me a completely different understanding of the female body, not just professionally, but personally.

I began to see more clearly how much women carry physically, mentally, and emotionally, and how often those experiences can feel overlooked or disconnected within healthcare.

That realisation gradually shaped the vision for Soma.
